Tokyooooooooo physics

During my recent trip to Japan, we rode the Shinkansen (bullet train) to our many destinations. the shinkansen travels at around 300 Kmph or 188 Mph. Thats crazy fast! the way this train can reach record holding speeds is its unique design. The shinkansen's front and back are shaped similarly for two way travel. The rounded tip shape of the vessel allows for the least amount of air resistance which takes the shinkansen use less consumable power and also allows the shinkansen to have an extremely smooth ride.
