L2PLAY nub

So this weekend i was extremely bored and decided to visit one of my old computer games.... GUNBOUND!! this is yet another perfect example of physics in video games...

mom- "Landon do your homework."
Landon- "Im doing physics!"

YUP! so this game involves projectiles, you control the power and angle you fire at. It is more complicated than that because there is wind you need to factor in and other items.

in class we are now learning about collisions and this weekend i played some pool. this is a prime example of collisions because we can see the x and y components as the balls roll around the table. The cue ball (the white one) collides with another ball and depending on where on the face it hits the ball will convert all of its x energy into x and y on the other ball. We also learned that all of the energy is transferred and the ending energy remains the same as the beginning.

This is what my room looked like earlier tonight... its pretty awesome huh! never seen it cleaner in my life!!!! well because of all the rain and wind we are experiencing the power and even the cable went out tonight. so im trying to do this as quick as possible before it goes out again... im no expert on this but i think all the power outages are being caused by a break in a circuit somewhere which results in no electrical charge flow. if an electrical circuit is not complete it wouldnt be called a circuit and would be useless because the particles would not pass through whatever is using the energy such as a light bulb or even a computer! ok well at least u dont need light to sleep! :D
